Ramsey County Care Center
Much like other care facilities, the Ramsey County Care center creates a lot of organic   food waste from operations.  Likewise, there is a significant amount of cardboard from products delivered to the facility.  As with recycling at all Ramsey County facilities, bottles, cans, and mixed paper are also collected to maximize what can be recycled from operations and also provide residents and visitors to the facility an opportunity to recycle. Read more.

Free Money for Business Recycling - BizRecycling
BizRecycling provides free resources and assistance to Ramsey and Washington County businesses that want to learn more about recycling opportunities for paper, bottles, cans, food and other organic waste. The goal is to promote job growth and protect the environment by helping schools, restaurants, healthcare facilities, and other local businesses recycle more.

Grant monies are now available for businesses and institutions for up to $10,000 in assistance. No matching funds are required. The starter grants provide funding to get a recycling or food waste/organics recovery program up and running at your place of business. Funds can be used for purchasing equipment and supplies, or in creating the educational materials needed to educate staff or inform the public. Already have a program in place but still interested? No problem! These funds are for you too. We know there’s always room for improvement. Just need containers? That’s an option too. Purchasing the right containers to maximize your recycling efforts can be the most costly part of implementing a new or improved program.
