Alarm System Permit

An Alarm System permit is required of any person or company that possesses, or subscribes to an alarm system which is intended to summon police, fire or emergency medical services. 
 
Code Requirements
Council approved the current ordinance regulating Alarm Systems on August 25, 2014, and guidance relating to Alarm Systems is contained within the Maplewood City Code, Chapter 4, Section 4-1 to 4-103 (PDF). All permit holders are required to be familiar with the provisions of this Chapter.
 
Application Requirements

Expiration/Renewal
Permit term runs January 1 through December 31, annually. Renewal must occur on or before date of expiration.

Permits that are applied for after August 1st each year will expire on December 31 of the following year.
