The City of Maplewood is conveniently located just ten minutes from downtown St. Paul and stretches along most of the northern and eastern borders of St. Paul. The Community Center is just south of Highway 36 on the south east corner of White Bear Avenue and County Road B.

4. Do I need to be a member of the community center to use the facility?

Everyone is welcome at the center. The MCC offers daily passes, 10 visit pass cards and special group rates for non-members. A wide variety of affordable membership options are available with discounted rates for Maplewood and North St. Paul Residents.

Daily Admission Rates: Youth/Senior $6.00, Adult $8.00, Family $20.00
All rates subject to change and sales tax.

5. How old do I have to be to visit the center?

All individuals under the age of 10 must be accompanied by an adult 18 years of age or older at all times. Minimum age in the fitness center is 16 or 12 if a fitness orientation with a parent and personal trainer has been completed. We recommend that children under 6 years old be accompanied by an adult in the pool. Patrons using the hot tub must be at least 16 years of age.

6. Does the MCC participate in the fitness discount program?

Members can earn up to a $20.00 credit toward their membership per month through Blue Cross Blue Shield, Health Partners, UCare and Medica for working out 8-12 times per month (dependent on the program).

7. What forms of payment does the facility accept?

Cash, Check, Visa, MasterCard and Discover are all acceptable form of payment. The center also has an ATM on site.

8. Is child care available?

Drop in child care is available from 9:00AM - 1:00PM Monday through Friday and from 4:30 - 8:00PM Monday - Thursday. Stop by the Maplewood Community Center Customer Service counter for rates and additional information or call 651-249-2215 to make a reservation today.

9. Are lockers and locker rooms available?

In addition to traditional locker rooms, a separate family locker room is available for families with children under 10 years of age. Free key accessed lockers are available in all locker rooms in addition to mini lockers ($.25) in the admissions area.

10. Does the Community Center offer programs for Seniors?

The MCC is excited to host Active Friends 55+. Various events, programs and activities are available throughout the month including Card Sharks, Bingo, Stability (chair assisted) Sculpt, Water Fitness, and Educational Seminars. We are now also participating in the SilverSneakers program.
