Planning Commission
Commission Objectives

The Maplewood Planning Commission is a nine-member advisory committee to the city council. Their duties are to prepare and recommend a comprehensive plan for the development of the city and to review zoning and land use matters like rezoning requests, zoning variances, property subdivisions, right-of-way vacations and home occupation requests. The city council relies on the PC's recommendations on these and related matters.

The City Council appoints residents who volunteer to serve on City commissions and boards. If you are interested in becoming a member of one of these groups, call City Hall at 651.249.2000 or email us HERE for more information.

Meeting Times & Location

The Planning Commission meets on the first and third Tuesday of each month in the Maplewood City Hall Council Chambers at 1830 County Road B East at 7:00 pm.
