Tree Quest Self-Guided Hike
Enjoy an outdoors hike and learn about trees by doing the
New Tree Quest with GPS cooridinates. The Tree Quest is a self-guiding activity to do on Maplewood Nature Center trails and is free. Download the hike from this page or pick up you copy at the Nature Center Visitor Center. Trails are open everyday during daylight hours.
Maplewood Nature Center Programs
Attend adult classes on landscaping with native plants, identifying Minnesota trees, buckthorn removal, and family programs that help you learn about the value of trees are held at Maplewood Nature Center and other sites in the city. View descriptions of current
offerings and dates. Some programs and seminars include a fee.
Service Projects
Service Projects are available for youth groups that include tree planting, buckthorn removal, and woodland restoration. Service Learning is a great way to learn about the natural world while making a positive impact on the community.
