The Street Division’s primary responsibility is to keep the city streets in a safe and good condition through snowplowing, sanding, crack sealing, sweeping and filling potholes within the city right of ways.

This division is also involved in the maintenance of sidewalks, trails, catch basins, ponds and storm sewer mains throughout the city.

Maplewood has 135.05 miles of city streets, 31.79 miles of county roads and 13.15 miles of state highways.

The street superintendent is Bryan Nagel. Bob Running is the storm sewer maintenance crew chief and Troy Brink is the street maintenance crew chief. There are eight additional maintenance persons in this division.

Maplewood’s Maintenance Facility is located at 1902 County Road B East, east of city hall on the city campus.
