The Maplewood Police Department responds to over 25,000 calls for service each year. The Patrol Division of the Maplewood Police Department is coordinated by Lt. Richard Doblar.

As a part of Community Policing, the City has been geographically divided in half with each lieutenant responsible for the activities in the north and south districts, respectively.

Six patrol sergeants provide supervision to 34 officers assigned to patrol.
