The Maplewood Police Department has an officer dedicated to traffic enforcement in an effort to work towards a safer community.

Traffic volumes continue to grow across the metro area. Those higher volumes bring an increasing number of complaints. The traffic unit is assigned to work problem areas to make neighborhoods safer.

If you have a complaint about a specific area that could be made safer by a concentrated effort of the traffic officer, please contact him with the name of the street, the days of the week and the time of day the problem is greatest.
